Columbus Lady Titan Seniors, Katy Mooney, Brylie Johnson, Torey Tedlock, Hannah Johnson, Hailey Ediger, and Madisen Rand and the entire team opened their season with a jamboree event in Chanute, Saturday. Titan Senior, Sy Schuberger, came in as a relief and pitched one inning for the Columbus Titans in their 14-4 win over the Northwest Arkansas Hornets, Saturday, during the Wyandotte/Seneca Baseball Festival at Seneca, Mo. Sy collected one strike out on the mound, then drove in two runs for the Titans, scored one run with one hit and had one base-on-balls from the plate. Columbus is hosting their home opener tonight at Bomber Field in the Community Field Ballpark. The varsity game begins at 4:30 p.m.
