  • The Columbus Junior High Lady Titan Cross Country Team competed at the Oswego Meet, September 18 at the Oswego Golf Course. Racing for the eighth grade girls team were Sammi Ohmart, first; Hieyla Shelton, fifth; Cora Rider, fourth; and Lydia Wilkins, ninth.     Life Christian’s Junior Division Bear Cubs edged Redfield’s Heritage Christian, 6-3 last Friday to capture their first outright Midstates Christian League softball championship since 2021. LCS and Heritage shared the title in 2023.The two teams split he first two games of the championship round, with Heritage winning the opener, 14-6 and the Bear Cubs taking the second game 1913....
