Frontenac High School All-CNC League and All-State Baseball Alum, Logan Myers, led the Emporia State Hornet Offense with four hits in four plate appearances for two doubles, a single, and a home run in the 14-2, seven inning, run-rule win over the previously undefeated PSU Gorillas, Friday, in Emporia. Myers leads the Hornets with a .408 batting average. He earned distinction as the 2024 MIAA Co-Freshman of the Year. Above he stands in the batter’s box for a 2025 win at MSSU.
Former Titan Seth Stover, All-CNC League, All-State Baseball, and SIK Pitcher of the Year was on the mound for Emporia State to hand the Gorillas their first loss of the season in a seven inning, run-rule, 14-2. Stover faced former Titan Teammate, Landin Midgett in three plate appearances and held him to one hit, a double, for the day. Pitt State came back to win the Saturday and Sunday games. Titan alumni, Seth Stover and Landin Midgett were on opposite sides of the diamond in a MIAA contest that pitted the 15th ranked Emporia State Hornets against Pittsburg State.
