Titans win jr. varsity contest over Lancers

The Columbus Titan Junior Varsity completed the non-conferenced game with a 9-3 win over the Southeast Lancers, Tuesday. The score matched that of the varsity win prior to the JV contest in the double header opener.Brody Matson pitched the five-inning win for Columbus.

CUHS Titan Golf in first outing

The Columbus Titan Boys Golf Team had their first tournament under the leadership of first year head coach, Clay Saporito. The CUHS Graduate took a seasoned team of three seniors and two juniors to Peoria Ridge Golf Course in Miami, Okla. for their first outing of the season.

Titan Sophomore, Jonas Stover, threw a one hitter and collected two, tworun doubles in the same inning of the 16-1, Columbus win over the Vikings in Parsons, Thursday. He is being recognized as Titan of the Week.Stover is 1-1 in two starts on the mound for the Titans in their young season.

LCHS gets past CUHS in non-league contest

The Labette County Lady Grizzlies jumped out to an early lead and held off a late inning rally by the Columbus Lady Titans as they took the non-league win, 12-9, in Columbus, Monday.

The Columbus Lady Titans rolled over the Southeast Lady Lancers in a 20-1, non-conference win, Thursday, in Cherokee.Senior, Adalie Grafel led the offense with five Runs-Batted-In and three hits, a triple and two singles.

Titans run-rule Vikings at Parsons

The Columbus Titans came home with a five-inning, 16-1, run-rule win over the Parsons Vikings, Thursday, in a varsity match up with their former SEK League rival.
Titan Sophomore, Jonas Stover, gave up one hit and one unearned run in the 16-1, five-inning win over Parsons at the Labette County College field in Parsons, Thursday. Jonas also had a pair of tworun, doubles in the third inning to lead the Titan offense in the run-rule win.

CHC/SEK offers school physicals

Kansas students in grades 7-12 can receive their sports physicals for the upcoming school year at the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK), starting April 1.   Student-athletes are encouraged to complete their physicals early.
