State 12U champs place third at MWP

The Frontenac Youth 12U Cal Ripken Team earned a trip to Garden City for the Cal Ripken Midwest Plains Regional Tournament, Wednesday-Sunday.

Columbus 10U third at state

The Columbus 10U All-Stars came up just short in the Kansas Cal Ripken 10U State Tournament, Saturday and Sunday in Frontneac. Columbus lost a heartbreaker semi-final game, 4-5, against Cottonwood Valley and had to settle for third place in the state.

Frontenac wins 10-Under Cal Ripken State Championship

The Frontenac Youth League hosted the Kansas Cal Ripken State 10U Tournament, Saturday and Sunday and came away with a sweep in both the 10U and 12U state tournaments.

Schalk in Shrine Bowl tomorrow

Columbus Titan 2022 Graduate and Pittsburg State University commit, Kody Schalk, will be in action tomorrow night at Carnie Smith Stadium on the PSU campus for the 49th Annual East/West Shrine Bowl Game.

The Columbus Cal Ripken 12U All-Stars were runners-up at the Kansas Cal Ripken State Tournament in Frontenac, Saturday and Sunday. The team battled their way to the championship game before suffering the 0-10 loss to the champion Frontenac Raiders.

Frontenac wins 12U Cal Ripken State Tournament

The Frontenac 12U Cal Ripken All-Stars swept the Kansas 12U State Tournament to win the title in the championship finale with Columbus 10-0. Held on their home field, the junior Raiders opened with a 11-1 win over Cottonwood Valley.

Two Lady Titan Wrestlers have qualified as members of Team Kansas to compete in at the Mecca of high school wrestling competitions in Fargo, North Dakota.

Cal Ripken 10-12U State at Frontenac

The Frontenac Youth League is hosting the 2022 Kansas Cal Ripken 10U and 12U State Baseball Tournaments Saturday and Sunday. Pool play begins Saturday for both the Columbus Cal Ripken All-Star Teams taking the field at 11:30 a.m. against Parsons in Game 2.

Junior Golf hosting youth/adult tourney

Columbus Junior Golf and Brush Creek Golf Course are hosting a Youth/Adult Golf Tournament, Thursday, August 4, at the golf course east of Columbus. The tournament is a two-player scramble to give families an opportunity to play golf together. The youth must hit one shot on each hole.
