Riverton drops 10U tourney to Pittsburg

The Kansas Little League State Championship Minor League Tournament ended with a 10-5 win for the Pittsburg Minor League All-Stars over the Riverton Minor League All-Stars, Saturday in Baxter Springs.

Saporito earns Outlaw win

The Cherokee Little League Minors (8-9-10 year-old) and the Baxter Springs Major Leaguers (10-11-12 year-old) All-Stars were eliminated from the Kansas State Little League Tournaments, Friday night in Baxter Springs.

Little League state tourney hosted at Baxter Springs

The Kansas Little League State Tournaments begin at the Baxter Springs Little League complex on Monday, July 19. In the 8, 9 and 10 yearold bracket, the host, Baxter Springs team will play Riverton at 6 p.m. Monday, July 19. Pittsburg will play Cherokee at 8 p.m.
