Five members out of the 11 competitors for the Columbus Wrestling Club earned first place in the 16th Annual Frontenac Youth Brawl, Sunday, in the AM session of the tournament. Bearett Bowin, Raelee Engoff, Kai Davis, Cam Carter, and Cajen Smith all won their respective weight classes.

A major drought in the second and third quarters gave the Baxter Springs Lions an opportunity to build a lead over the visiting Columbus Titan Eighth Graders and hold on for the win, 28-20, Monday, in the season opener for the CCCJL teams.
