In previous years, the Chamber of Commerce has hosted a cookout before the Columbus Christmas Parade to raise funds for the Fourth of July Celebration. The 2022 July 4 event will be organized and coordinated by members of the Columbus Fire Department. They plan to have a cookout December 1 before this year’s Christmas parade to start fundraising for the fireworks display.
The Columbus Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Chris Award.
Each year, after the announcement of the winner, we hear someone say they should have nominated someone. If they are not nominated, they can’t be the Chris Award winner. The Chris Award recipient will be chosen from the nominations submitted this year.
