All hands were on deck Monday morning as Columbus Unified High School students and other community members assembled Thanksgiving food baskets. The baskets were distributed Tuesday afternoon. Anna Head was moving boxes of peanut butter Monday morning.

Lexy Stone helps carry turkeys from the truck into Columbus Unified High School. The turkeys were donated by Congressman Jake LaTurner to be used in the Community Thanksgiving baskets that will be given out to those in need in the Columbus School District.

‘Aunt Clara’ talks aging to CCRSP

Members of the Cherokee County Retired School Personnel were treated to an entertaining and hilarious program by guest “Aunt Clara” Wassom on the trials of aging. The group met at noon Wednesday, November 17, at the Baxter United Methodist Church. President Pat Spriggs welcomed everyone.
