The Columbus Public Library will be open to the public, with a five person limit. Mondays 9 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursdays 8 a.m.-11 a.m. Wednesdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. By appointment only. Thursdays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Fridays 9 a.m.-noon. Saturdays 10 a.m.-noon.

Summer breakfast and lunch is now open a Weir Elementary School. Children ages one-18 are eligible. No registration or identification is required. If child is not enrolled in the summer school program, masks will be required. There will be directions posted for seating locations.

Create better health classes start May 20

Join “Create Better Health” at the Cherokee County K-State Research and Extension office. The interactive classes will provide participants with confidence in preparing healthy dishes and new recipes.
