K-State Grazing School scheduled for June 8

K-State Research and Extension - Wildcat District, Kansas Grazing Land Coalition, and NRCS will host Southeast Kansas Grazing and Forage School on June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Southeast Research and Extension Center, 25092 Ness Rd., Parsons.

The Sportsman’s Club fishing tournament winners received prizes for the biggest fish in each age group. The six years old and under big fish was caught by Cooper Miller with an 8.6 pound catfish. Adley Ellison was second with a 1.93 pound bass and Jackson Hutching was third in the class with a 1.

My favorite kind of literature is historical fiction. When traveling, we sometimes visit places I’ve read about in books or periodicals.For instance, we visited a plantation and cemetery south of Franklin, TN which is the setting for the book “The Widow of the South”.
