Make plans for All School Reunion

Several classes have sent their class alumni information on the upcoming 2023 All school reunion – the committee says “Thank You” to those classes.

Legislative breakfast set April 10

The Columbus Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs will host a Legislative breakfast Monday, April 10, during the legislative break. Breakfast will be held at 7:30 a.m. at Maple Uncommon Guest House and Gallery for members. Reservations will be needed.

One of the new members of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce is Happy Jack’s. In addition to a food truck, there is a motor sports museum. Jack Johnson shows some of the memorabilia. Additional new members include Fast Mart, Daylight Donuts, and Back Door Chalky Boutique.

Annual conservation dinner meeting recognizes area farms

The traditional Conservation dinner was missed last year due to the pandemic but was re-started this year and was enjoyed by community members Cherokee County Conservation District board members served chicken dinner to the those attending the annual meeting and dinner.

Titans of the Week

The Columbus Unified High School Titan Band was honored to be chosen as one of seven to perform for the Kansas Music Educators Conference in late February at Wichita. They are being recognized as Titans of the Week.
