German culture is by far one of my favorites. The Boy Who Dared is the reason I wanted to learn about German culture. The Boy Who Dared is a book where a young adult is in a prison cell for going against Hitler’s plans. In the book it sometimes mentions flashbacks when he was a young boy.

Baxter Springs’ Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood met Monday, April 4 at 1 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the United Methodist Church in Baxter Springs. Members present had fun decorating Easter bonnets. Hats were furnished by Phyllis Garrett, who was unable to attend.
