A car vs. deer accident occurred February 16 at approximately 6:52 p.m. A 2008 Ford Taurus driven by Paula Dennis, 57, Joplin, Mo., was traveling east on Southeast KS-66. Dennis struck a deer in the roadway near Southeast 90th Street. Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputies investigated.
