Controlled burn leads to city structure fire

Columbus firefighters were dispatched to controlled burn of some debris next to the house at 412 West Sycamore, at 12:23 p.m. Sunday in Columbus.

The wind pushed the fire from the debris igniting the house.

“We were able to save most of the house, one room was burned, there was some smoke and water damage,” said Fire Chief Steven Burton.
