A last minute change in the City of Galena budget submitted to the County Clerk has caused a minor rift between the County Clerk’s office and the County Treasurer’s office. However, they are both anxious to put the matter behind them.
It all came about because Galena submitted a budget that led to the calculation of a budget somewhat over a 98 mil levy.
