The McCune Veterans Memorial built ten years ago will again host the Memorial Day service at 11 a.m. following the dedication of the GAR Memorial renovation.
The time for the turning of the tassels is upon most of Cherokee County. Graduation ceremonies were held for Baxter Springs, Columbus and Riverton School Districts earlier this month.
