The resignation of Cherokee County Emergency Management Director Jared Glover was accepted Monday morning by the County Commission.
He will remain in the position until October 6.
Holding the position just over a year, Glover, has taken a position in the Springfield area.
“We are happy for you and will miss you,” said Commissioner Myra Carlisle Fraizer. “You’ve been a wonderful employee.”
