Motorists in Weir were expecting traffic delays on Wednesday that never came.
Kansas Department of Transportation announced Tuesday that replacement of an under-road drainage pipe approximately one mile east of K7 highway, scheduled to begin June 24, has been delayed until July 1.
KDOT Public Information Officer for District 4, Ray Nolting cited weather and materials as being the cause of the delay.
