The Kansas Department of Transportation announce approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects including two projects in Cherokee County near Columbus.
The major maintenance projects are expected to begin in July 2023 and will include U.S. 69, from the Oklahoma/Kansas state line north to the south city limits of Columbus mill-ing and hot mix overlay a total of 12.0 miles.
