Executives from the Department of Transportation visited with Cherokee County Commissioners and residents Monday morning. The discussions centered around the construction of US69 four-lane highway through Cherokee County.
A road show presented by several Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) officials Monday as they met with local citizens and several from Crawford County to discuss the future plans for highways in Cherokee County. Attending the meeting, held during Monday’s County Commissioner session, were the County Commissioners, Kansas State Senator Tim Shallenburger and State Representative Mike Houser.
