A luncheon for veterans and first responders was held Friday, September 11 at the Lions Shack on the Cherokee County Fairgrounds. This is an annual event to honor local heroes for their dedication and service. Terry Clugston was picking up a lunch as workers in the background packed more meals for delivery and pick up. The luncheon was free of charge.
