The 109 deeds recently mailed to the purchasers of property purchased at the Cherokee County Tax Sale July 18, 2023 were apparently improperly validated.
Though they were signed by the Cherokee County Sheriff David Groves the printed County Sheriff’s name printed on the deeds was Sheriff Richard A. Newby of Chautauqua County.
