Permission to install two new combustion turbine generators at the Riverton is being sought by Empire District Electric Company (Liberty Utilities) from the Missouri Public Service Commission.
The turbines will replace two existing turbines known as Unit 10 and Unit 11 in the Riverton Plant. The proposed construction will be within the existing Riverton Power Plant properties.
