Due to an error the participation of Cherokee County in the Rural Opportunity Zone Student Loan Repayment Program was misstated.
The County agreed to participate in the program, but they did not agree to use any county funds join with the state in funding.
Apparently some county businesses participate in the funding of the program and the state requires the County to support such funding.
