Shortly after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, September 24, a male subject placed a 911 call after discovering a woman’s body in a field. The woman’s body was located 1⁄2 mile west of the intersection of 20000 Road and Ness Road in rural Labette County.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), the Labette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Parsons Police Department are investigating it as a homicide.
