As the Christmas season arrives so do the county property tax bills.
The 2022 property tax bills were mailed from the County Treasurers office last week.
According to the tax statements the County portion of the property tax decreased by 5.8 mils from 39,027 to 32,204. Property taxes to operate the county decreased by 9.65-percent for a total decrease in $709,680.64.
