Taking advantage of the improved weather Scout Troop # 299, from the Kansas City area came down for a visit to Heart of the Heartlands Train Museum in Carona and Big Brutus.
The scouts arrived on Saturday morning and set up their tents and sleeping bags. After getting a fire going they cooked lunch which consisted of Dutch oven cooked chicken enchiladas before going to Brutus for their tour.
