Over the past nine years, Columbus First United Methodist Church has presented $37,950 in scholarships. These scholarships were made possible through the generosity of Starr and Eugenia Smith, who were interested in young people and their education. The 2026 Starr and Eugenia Smith scholarship recipients are Taylor McDown Coble and Isaac Johnson.
