Thursday, October 27

At approximately 8:36 a.m. Thursday, October 27, a 2000 Mazda MPV was traveling westbound on Highway 160 and attempted to pass a semi-truck. The wind then caused the Mazda to leave the roadway on the south side and the vehicle rolled, entering into Neosho River. The driver and sole occupant of the Mazda, 29 year-old Caleb Neatherlin, of Oswego, was transported to a Joplin area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
