The USD493 School Board approved a proposed 2022-2023 budget of $4,213,337 an increase of $262,009 over the current budget. The mil rate decreased slightly with a rate of 53.993 compared to 54.353 in the current year.
However much of the decrease in the mil rate was driven by a general fund increase of over $2-million in assessed value in the district.
