As the first day of school looms, Columbus Unified School District 493 Board of Education met for their regular meeting Monday, July 13 to finalize a gamut of policies, salaries and purchases needed to begin the 2026-2027 school year.
Kicking off the meeting, BoE members reelected Tony Shearburn to serve as Board President and Donny Carter as Board Vice-President.
