The top male participant in the 2025 Columbus Day 5K Run was Zachery Nicoson was a repeat winner with a time of 20:14 cutting nearly one-minute off his 2024 time. Carrie Engroff was the top female contestant in the 5K race this year with a time of 24:12. The entire field’s times will be published with photo in a future edition.

Mr. Columbus Ivan Queen was crowned Friday evening on the County Courthouse steps along with Mrs. Columbus Donna “Dee” Buffalo. Both are residents at Medicalodges and are honored to be selected and to be a part of the festivities. Both are military veterans, he was in the service for eight years. She was in the armed services for three years.
