The public is encouraged to attend a workshop to help build the Columbus Comprehensive Plan and prepare guidelines to take the city where the citizens want it to go. “A comprehensive plan is a playbook for what the community wants to achieve over the next 20 years,” said City Administrator Jake Letner.

The fundraising for Freedom Fest drive through cookout begins again today at the Columbus Fire Station at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The brush-book-bed program has been initiated by the Cherokee County Health Department in partnership with Oral Health Kansas. The program helps parents in forming a routine of brushing their teeth, reading a book and then going to bed.

The Columbus Mercy Hospital Pink Ladies will be holding their annual taco drive thru at St. Rose Parish Hall.
