K-State Extension gives tips for treating calf scours

Calf diarrhea, also called scours, is a very costly problem for many producers. Scours are only a symptom of underlying disease that plagues the animal. Dehydration and chemical imbalances are the actual causes of the animal’s demise. Several pathogens can cause severe diarrhea.

TBRA Applications accepted starting Monday

Applications for the Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) program will begin being accepted on Monday, December 11th, at 8:30 a.m. and Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEKCAP) will continue to accept them until grant funding has been obligated.
