Can you believe that the Columbus Day Festival/ Hot Air Balloon Regatta is just a little over three months away? The committee has been working hard for the last six months in putting together the festival.
Businesses, individuals, organizations and non-profits are invited to take place in the Business and Health EXPO scheduled September 28. Last year the event had a good turn out.

Messers hold family reunion

A reunion was held June 25 by descendants of the Messer family. The annual event was held at the 4H Building in Columbus, with families traveling from Missouri and Oklahoma as well as Kansas. After lunch, each family provided an update and had a good time visiting.
Kay Walker, Parsons, has her quilting area set up for two days of uninterrupted quilting, except for brief visiting breaks, meals and snacks. The quilters are sort of in a group of their own as the others are also.
