My farm life

Junior Division I live on a farm with my family. We have chickens, goats, rabbits, cats, dogs and ducks. It takes a lot of work to care for them all. In the mornings, I get up at 7 a.m. to help my mom do chores, but not every morning.

My farm

I live on a farm with goats and chickens. We also have fourteen ducks and six rabbits. One rabbit is named Bella. Bella has a sister named Sweetie. We have three baby goats with orange fur. I have two dogs named Sif and Thor. They like to run around and play.

Being Good

I know God wants me to be good, and He helps me when I let Him. Sometimes I’m bad. I get mad when my mom and dad don’t let me get on my virtual reality headset. If I don’t get my homework done, I don’t get to play on my tablet either.

A modern-day fairy tale

In mythical times knights in shining armor would go on quests to save the princess. During their quests, they were faced with many challenges like dragons, trolls, poisonous food, and navigating unknown land.

A gift from God

It flies like a bird, all through the air. Tumbling and soaring up high without care. Wisping around every creature to share. The message it brings, oh so lovely and fair. Bouncing on walls and back towards our ears. Towards long lost places, our mem’ries, it steers.

Titans of the Week

The Columbus Titans set lofty goals after finishing second in the Kansas Class 3A State Baseball Tournament last season. Eleven seniors strong, the Titans entered the 2023 season with a mission to finish what they had started.
