Columbus city and Columbus Unified School District taxpayers receiving their “revenue neutral” notice may be a bit surprised when they see the proposed tax rates. The Columbus city Tax rate is listed as 36.899 mils but should be 63 mils, according to Jake Letner, City Administrator. He also said the date of their hearing is incorrect.
