Lorie Lynn Ammons, 59, of Scammon, died Thursday, September 1, 2022. Born March 8, 1963, in Chanute, Lorie was the daughter of Robert Kauffman and Florence Welch Kauffman. Lorie and William Ammons were united in marriage May 8, 1999, in Columbus. She worked for AJL Machine Shop in Pittsburg, as an office manager In addition to her parents and husband, Lorie is survived by one daughter, Tasha Elaine Dean (husband, Jason), of Pittsburg; two sons, Jeremy Schultz, of Crestline and Christopher Lee Titman, of Kincaid. Fourteen grandchildren, whom she loved very much; and one brother, Russell Kauffman, of Chanute also survive.
Lorie was preceded in death by two sisters, Crystal Kauffman and Debra Schultz.
Private funeral services will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Derfelt Funeral Home of Columbus.
