The National Anthem was sung by Jalynn Fellers, a lifelong Weir resident. The main street crowd appreciated her performance as the American Flags fluttered along the parade route. She was joined by Reverend Jim Fellers who led the crowd in prayer.
A grant award to build an Outdoor Wildlife Learning Site (OWLS) to create an area southwest of Park Elementary School grounds was presented by Suzette Henderson, Park first grade teacher.
