A motorcycle accident occurred September 25 at approximately 1:45 p.m. south of Highway U69 on Highway U69 Alternate. A 2003 Harley Davidson driven by Jesse L. Prater, 40, Joplin, Mo., was traveling south on U69 Alternate when the vehicle experi-enced mechanical failure, causing it to roll in the roadway and eject the driver.
