Margaret Alice Paradee, 84 of Columbus, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her home. Born June 18, 1938 in Corona, Margaret was the daughter of of Tony Begando and Ruth (Lanning) Begando.
Margaret and John Paradee were united in marriage May 6, 1958 in Miami, Okla. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son Steven Paradee, siblngs, Tom Begando, Janice Blancett, Dick Begando, Anton Begando and Norma Depratt.
Margaret was skilled in sewing and worked in a garment factory for a while but mainly did jobs out of her home. She enjoyed gardening, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
Margaret is survived by her son, Michael Paradee of Sperry, Okla.; daughter Shelly Paradee of Columbus; and granddaughter, Katie Paradee of Columbus. Her brother, Charlie Begando of Weir and sister, Sarah Begando of Tulsa, Okla. also survive.
