John Martin Stidham, 49, of Bentonville, Ark., died January 25, 2023, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Ark. Born in Tulsa, Okla. April 19, 1982, John was the son of Harold “Scrap” Stidham and Marty White. He graduated from Riverton High School with the class of 2000. He later attended Pittsburg State University where he received training in electrical engineering. He had lived in Southeast Kansas and Rogers, Ark., but had settled in Bentonville, Ark. where he worked as a project manager for K2M Engineering. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, going camping, boating, gardening, and raising cattle.
John and Natalie Jo Woods were united in marriage May 20, 2006 at the Riverton House of Prayer in Riverton. She survives.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by his three children, Ava, Martin and Talia; his father, Harold “Scrap” Stidham (wife, Deb) of Joplin, Mo.; his mother, Marty White (fiancé, Kelly Thompson) of Pittsburg; one niece, Taylor Skinner of Baxter Springs; and one sister-in-law, Tiffany Woods of Baxter Springs.
A funeral service was held Monday, January 30, at Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena. Pastor Audie Tash officiated. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery of Galena.
