Eddie Lynn Webber, 73 of Carl Junction, Mo., died Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Mercy Hospital of Joplin, Mo. Born December 18, 1949 in Baxter Springs, Eddie was the son of Arthur and Mildred (Bunch) Webber. They preceded him in death . He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Lucky Webber, Sonny Webber, Lonnie Webber; and two sisters, Dolly Bullard and Molly Brinkley.
Eddie attended school in Galena. He later served his country for two years in the United States Army. He worked as a handyman and general contractor for many years before his retirement.
Eddie and Sandra Louise Satterfield were united in marriage March 27, 1971, at Joplin, Mo. She survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, Eddie is survived by his son Skip Webber (wife, Alizabeth) of Diamond, Mo.; daughter, Tammy Webber of Altus, Okla.; two grandchildren, Madeline Webber (husband, Jacob Harry) of Carthage, Mo. and Isabell Webber of Joplin, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Denver and Kyren Harry, and Miles Webber; three sisters, Erlene Watkins of Lowell, Carol Ann Redden of Miami, Okla. and Wilma McBee (husband, Tom) of New Mexico as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Cremation has been entrusted to Derfelt Funeral Home of Galena. The family will host a celebration of life at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 7 at Christpoint Church in Galena.
