Randall Dean DeBeeld, 60 of Baxter Springs died Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Freeman Hospital, in Joplin, Mo. Born February 9, 1962, in Lynden, Washington Randall was the son of John and Marjorie (Zweegman) DeBeeld.
Randall served in the United States Air Force as a Staff Sargant from 1980 until 1989. While in the Air Force Randall did telecommunications. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with electronics. He was most recently employed by Arvest Bank as a maintenance man.
Randall and Sandra Kay McKinney were united in marriage June 1, 2013 at Eureka Springs, Ark. She survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, Randall is survived by his mother, Marjorie DeBeeld; two sons, Adam DeBeeld (Charlottle) of Kansas City, and John DeBeeld (Brittany) of Algona,Wash.; brother, Ron DeBeeld; sisters, Sandy Kiel (Vic), Doreene Roorda (Jerry), Cinda Hibbs (Ed), Michelle Choat (Larry) and Jane Vanderwerff (Brad); ten grandchildren, Eli, Emily, Levi, Noah, Jake, Harley, Sara, Brantly, Zaylie, and Emma.
Randall was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 18 at Crossroads Christian Church. Pastor Cameron Woodring will officiate. Burial will follow in the Baxter Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, February 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Derfelt’s Baxter Chapel.
