The Columbus Highland afterschool program received a physical activity bundle after participating in a six-week nutrition and physical activity education class provided by Cherokee County K-State Research and Extension.
The class, Choose Health: Food, Fun, and Fitness (CHFFF), encourages kids to choose healthy drinks and snacks, eat more fruits and vegetables, and read nutrition labels.
