On March 7 at 7:13 p.m. Columbus Fire Department was dispatched to a mobile home fire with flames and smoke showing upon arrival. Crews started extinguishing the fire. In total nine Columbus firefighters and five from Scammon fire were on scene. Firefighters removed three dogs from the home successfully, however five or more cats did not make it.
