Ricky Bass, 61 years old from Carthage, Mo. died peacefully April 1, 2023, at his home in Joplin, Mo. He was born in Carthage, Mo May 27, 1961. He was the son of the Dale Bass and Deloris Bass (Finn).They preceded him in death. Ricky was also preceded in death by his son Coty and two brothers Dwane bass and Eugene Bass.
After attending Joplin high school Ricky met and married the love of his life Mary Crihfield. Together they had five children, two sons: Rick Bass and, Coty Bass; three daughters: Sabrina Bass, Tabatha Bass and Samantha Bass, all of Joplin, Mo. Also surviving is his brother Daryl Bass of Joplin, Mo. and sister Debbie Stephens of Baxter Springs; in addition to 22 grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Ricky enjoyed his cars, but his family always came first. He worked in construction, most recently for Doug Wilkerson Remodeling.
Services are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Crematory.
