Triplet female calves were born on the farm of Fred and Rosy Heistand

Triplet female calves were born on the farm of Fred and Rosy Heistand late last week. The three young heifers are doing fine and the mother cow seems to be very protective of the youngsters. Only one in every 105,000 bovine births produces triplets and the odds of same sex triplet births is astronomical. Courtesy photo.
