A large Pitt State Gorilla statue was stolen from the property owned by Dan and Lorna Stover.
The statue was removed from the front of their property on Tuesday evening and reported Wednesday to the Cherokee County Sheriff.
It would have required more than one person to lift the heavy cement Gorilla.
